What makes a good photograph.
Tony Stromberg-- Fierce Grace
I have liked a lot of Tony Stromberg's work, but I find this piece to be my favorite. I find that this picture fits all six of the criteria. You see this lovely horse, but yet you can not see its eyes and you are not exactly sure what the horse is feeling. It makes you wonder where this horse is due to the fact that you can not make out the background. The black and white really makes this picture stand out, I dont think it would have the same affect if it were in color. It may not be the picture for everyone, but it sure strikes me as stunning. This picture fits very well into the culture of horse people, maybe not so much with the rest of the world. The way he captures these wild horses in his work is amazing. He must just sit out there for hours just waiting for the right moment to capture the beauty of these animals.

Photo Analysis
I wanted to portray these abandoned buildings as beauty. They are more than some rotting wood along the road. The main focus of the pictures were kept in focus while the background is slightly softened. I wanted to keep a scene of where these buildings are, in hopes that maybe someone might go and try to find them. In my collage I muted the colors in the images to give them a little more of an older look to them. I felt it kind of brought out the abandoned part a little more. Gives the person a little more to think about when they are looking at the picture. If I were to reshoot these pictures I would definitely try to find out the owners of the properties in order to get better close up pictures. I would be able to get a lot of great shots if I was able to be closer. I may also have tried to take pictures when the sun is at different levels in the day.
